Project Fololo - versier een gilet voor Congo
In 2007 kwam Wil van Schaijk via vrijwilligerswerk bij het kledingdepot van de Wereld Missiehulp in Antwerpen in het bezit van 30.000 kindergiletjes. De komende jaren gaat ze de uitdaging aan deze giletjes op creatieve wijze in te zetten voor steun aan een aantal Congolese projecten. Met name kinderen worden gestimuleerd actief en creatief bezig te zijn voor kinderen in de derde wereld.
Alle niet verkochte versierde giletjes worden naar Congo gestuurd om daar kinderen blij te maken.

- Blue Animal Home in Kinshasa - opvanghuis voor alleenstaande kindermoeders: een veilige plek, een school, en werkgelegenheid, zodat men in hun eigen bestaan kan voorzien. Op zaterdag 18 april 2009 zal er tijdens een high tea in restaurant De Karpendonkse Hoeve in Eindhoven een eenmalige veiling zijn van gilets die opgefleurd zijn door bekende Nederlanders en kunstenaars. De opbrengst van deze veiling wordt door Wilde Ganzen aangevuld met 80 %.

- Projecten van Pater Carlos Rommel in Bumba - aanschaf van educatieve materialen voor scholen. Basisscholen fleuren giletjes op om te verkopen op kerstmarkten, schoolartikelen worden verzameld, schoon gemaakt, gesorteerd, aangevuld/gekocht en verpakt in koffers. - het opzetten van naaiatelier / winkel Fololo in Bumba.

- Project vluchtelingenopvang van Capucijner Luc Vansina in Goma (Stichting Memisa via de internationale organisatie Orde van Malta) - workshops “FOLOLO - versier een kindergilet voor Congo” voor kinderen. Kosten € 5, inclusief kindergilet, materialen om mee te werken, en gebruik van naaimachines, waaronder de zeer speciale FOLOLO - KINDERNAAIMACHINE.

- In 2010 is er de wedstrijd “FOLOLO - versier een kindergilet voor Congo”. De opbrenst is bestemd voor het Fololo atelier/winkel project van Pater Carlos in Bumba.

Overige projecten voor Congo
- ‘Een naaimachine is een baan, een bruidsjurk is een baan’ - met deze feiten verzamelt Wil naaimachines en bruidsjurken (kunnen mensen verhuren) en stuurt ze op naar Congo.

Project Fololo - decorate a waistcoat for Congo
In 2007, volunteering at the World Mission Help clothes depot in Antwerp, Wil van Schaijk came into possession of 30 000 children’s waistcoats. she has taken up the challenge to put these into creative use to support several Congolese projects for the coming years. Especially children are stimulated to be active and creative for children in the third world.
All unsold decorated waistcoats will be send to Congo to make children happy there.
- Blue Animal Home in Kinshasa - a safe shelter for single teenage mothers: a home, a school, employment, so that they will be able to provide for themselves. On Saturday April 18, 2009 there will be a single auction of waistcoats decorated by well-known Dutch artists and celebrities during a high tea at restaurant De Karpendonkse Hoeve, Eindhoven. Wilde Ganzen will add 80 % to the proceeds of this auction.
- Father Carlos Rommel’s Project in Bumba - purchase of educational material for schools. Dutch primary schools decorate waistcoats to sell at Christmas markets, school supplies are collected, cleaned, sorted out, replenished/bought and packed in boxes.

- Capuchin Luc Vansina’s project for a refugee centre in Goma ( Foundation Memisa through the international organisation Order of Malta) - workshops “FOLOLO - decorate a children’s waistcoat for Congo” for children. Costs: € 5, including waistcoat, materials to decorate, and use of sewing machines, amongst which the very special FOLOLO - CHILDREN’S SEWINGMACHINE.

- In 2010 there is a competition “FOLOLO - decorate a children’s waistcoat for Congo”. All proceeds are for the project Fololo workshop/shop of Father Carlos in Bumba.

Other Congo projects
- ‘A sewing machine is a job, a weddingdress is a job’ - knowing this, Wil collects sewing machines and wedding dresses (that can be rented by people) and sends them to Congo
- ‘Every Congolese child a doll’: Wil tidies up old dolls, dresses them and sends them to Congo.
